  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched its generative AI-based clinical documentation service, HealthScribe, which aims to streamline notetaking for healthcare providers.

  • Google’s Med-PaLM is officially live and performs a diverse array of biomedical tasks including medical question answering, image interpretation (dermatology, chest X-ray, mammography, pathology), and radiology report summarisation! So, basically the Swiss-army knife of medical generative AI.

  • The global digital twin healthcare market is projected to reach $21B by 2028, offering various advantages including accurate patient modelling, personalised medicine and treatment planning, and monitoring, leading to improved clinical decision-making and outcomes.   • The International Medical Robotics Academy continues to produce synthetic organs and fake torsos to help surgeons learn how to work with robots and virtual reality to improve patient outcomes.
